Back to it.

September has always felt a little more like the start of a new year than January does. I know, you know... It can't just be me that feels this way.

The lazy, slightly lawless days of summer start to come to an end. The kids head back to school, routines return, calendars fill up, and suddenly we all remember what day of the week it is. There is a joy in new beginnings, pulling out the denim, leather and of course... cashmere.

There’s something I love about it. Cooler mornings. Earlier evenings. Getting back into slow cooking, hot meals. A little more structure. And, obviously, that first morning when you open the door and think…
I need a sweater. Cashmere of course!
It’s the month of denim and loafers, coffee on the go, farmers’ markets, dinners around the table and squeezing in those last warm evenings outside.
I’m never quite ready to say goodbye to summer (or the dock, boat and swimming), but September makes a pretty convincing argument.

And after a summer tucked away in the closet, pulling out your favourite Fall cashmere feels a little like seeing an old friend.

Here’s to getting back to it.
